Visit "Montana's Premier Wilderness Experience". Built in 1906 by the Great Northern Railway, Summit Station Lodge is a historical landmark and a delightful place to experience the incredible spirit of Montana.

Summit Station is located on the Continental Divide at the top of Marias Pass, the lowest route across the Divide in the United States. We overlook Glacier National Park, and border the famous Lewis and Clark National Forest and the Bob Marshall.

Our main lodge contains incredible Glacier Park mountain views and the ambience has a vast space. The second floor contains a relaxing area to play pool, watch a movie, tie some flies, or simply to have a cocktail.

Summit Station Lodge has several comfortable, smoke-free, rustic cabins. The cabins have one or two bedrooms. The cabins include a private bath and charming furnishings. They have all the amenities that you will need.

The cabins also have a small front porch with mountain views, a site that you must not overlook as you may see elk, moose or some of our friendly bears! Each cabin offers a quiet and private respite from the work-a-day world.

Fly fishing Montana: Experience some of the finest back-country fishing in the world. We offer a variety of float trips in the Middle Fork and South Fork of the Flathead, the Blackfoot, and St. Mary's. You can wade high mountain steams, or take horses to different rivers or glacier lakes, where you may simply experience solitude and pristine angling. Seldom-fished and remote, these rivers, streams and lakes, are surrounded by glacier-carved peaks.

You can expect browns and rainbows to 10-12 lbs. Plus, native cutthroat. In fact, the state record cutt of 16 lbs. was taken in Glacier. Brookies to 6 lbs. Pike from 5 to 10 lbs. The combination of remote beauty, deluxe accommodations, exquisite cuisine, and terrific fishing, makes Summit Station Lodge a relaxing vacation or business getaway. Ask about the flyfishing school.
